Our Mission:
River City Kids exists to glorify God by making disciples of our kids. Our desire is that they would know Christ (make disciples), grow in Christ (mature) in order to show Christ (multiply).
Our Goals:
At River City Kids we want our children to be safe, have fun, and learn from God’s Word. Our desire is for them to grow in awe of the greatness of God and to be transformed by the grace of God which was demonstrated in the gospel.
CLASSES
Babbling Brook – Birth to 2 Surging Streams – 3 yrs. – K Raging Rapids – 1st-5th grade (Until there are enough kids for three classes, River City Kids will consolidate by moving the younger “Raging Rapids” kids into the “Surging Streams” class)
CURRICULUM
The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus as kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.
Your child will also learn Bible skills, key verses to memorize, and will come home with material for you to use to encourage further spiritual growth with your children and family.
There is an app for your smartphone and tablet that reinforce lessons and fun activities at home!

When Kids Get It, It Changes Everything.
The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.
SAFETY
Our check-in and check-out system utilize a matching number of stickers. One sticker goes on the bag that comes in with the child. One goes on the back of the child. And one is kept by the parent. The parent must keep this portion and have it readily available. If the parent is needed during the worship service then this number will flash on the screen. The parent will give this paper to the child’s leader to pick up him/her at the end of the service.
The children’s safety and security at River City Kids is one of our highest priorities. We carefully select volunteers who will care for the best interests of your child. All volunteers are required to fill out an application and a background check form. Background check forms are nationally run allowing us to see any background criminal information. In addition, we enforce a rule that prevents any adult from being alone with a child.
